The inspiration for “So We Must Love” comes from the shortest verse in the bible, “And Jesus wept”. This statement has become a true anchor of my own faith as it helps me to see Jesus as a person with real emotions and feelings. I have often used these words as a springboard in my own prayer life as I imagined Jesus not only weeping, but also laughing and singing and so many other things that capture the human experience. In this song, we journey through four scriptural stories. The refrain of the song brings these four themes together to inspire all of us. Jesus wept, Jesus laughed, Jesus died and Jesus loved.
