“Our God Is Like No Other” is a praise and worship hymn written for Cantor, SATB Choir, Piano, Guitar and Percussion. There is a gospel feel to the piece that speaks of the many names of honor given to God. The vocal range of the melody, as well as the choral parts, make it incredibly accessible to cantors as well as the congregation. The hope is for a congregation to be clapping and singing along while the choir and instrumentalists pray this piece with energy and fire. In terms of performance, the “descant” part as well as the drum set are free to improvise around the basic “groove.”
